bumpdate and nursery peek

Oh my goodness, this blog has been quiet for the last month! Tons to catch up on and hopefully I will be doing that more often. I’m trying to make it a goal to stay on top of photo editing and post more regularly. Between work, getting ready for the baby, and chasing Decker around, life has been a bit busy. I’m currently 35 weeks and overall, I really can’t complain too much. Although my stomach feels huge, my doctor measured me and assured me at the last visit that I’m right on track. (I guess being only 5 feet tall doesn’t help my bump look any smaller!) Besides the fact that I can’t stand for longer than 10 minutes without my back starting to ache, I am feeling pretty good.

I’ve really avoided pregnancy pictures this time around, but figured I needed some for the baby album. Here I am at 35 weeks.

My amazing parents were in town last week and spent two days getting baby girl’s room ready! It was such a big help because I am the biggest procastinator, especially when it comes to hanging things on walls.

As you can see, we decided to go with a Paris theme. We have most everything else we need for the baby either here or on the way and we’re actually way ahead of schedule since we were hanging stuff up in Decker’s room the night I went into labor! I’m still trying to work as much as possible, especially since my business has picked up over the last few months. I don’t really have an official “maternity leave” plan, which I guess is part of the joys of running your own business. Hopefully between Scott being home for awhile and his mom and grandma coming out for a bit after the baby is born, I’ll be able to work without having to scale back too much. Or maybe I’m just crazy?!

As a sidenote, I used my Olloclip fish-eye lens for those last two pictures and love the way it turned out. New photography toys are so fun!
